William O. Tyler is a comic creator, illustrator, editor and critic whose work often focuses on the intersection of love and horror. His own comics include The Goth Queen Needs a Mate, Ratboy, Cinephilia and his newest project Anxious Ax, exploring the horrors of anxiety from a Black and queer perspective. He co-edited the queer horror anthology Theater of Terror: Revenge of the Queers with Justin Hall and is currently co-editing his next queer anthology, Yellow is the Warmest Color, with Sonya Saturday. William is also half of the new publishing collaboration Tannis Comix, along with his partner Dave Davenport.

William is also a film critic who has spoken about the representation of marginalized people in media on various podcasts and panel discussions including at San Diego Comic Con. His webcomic Cinephilia was been adapted into a weekly movie talk show through Perception Studio, which he hosted on Twitch and Youtube. He has also worked with several film festivals, including serving on the awards jury for North Bend Film Festival and the screening committee for NewFest.
